Quick Sandbox Preset

Elastic Stack only — the fastest way to get a running environment. Ideal for POCs, demos, or testing Kibana dashboards without the full SOC stack.

Deploys in approximately 6–8 minutes — the fastest available preset. Estimated cost is $0.40–$0.60/hour on GCP (us-east1). Includes foundation (VPC, gateway, DNS) and Elastic Stack only.

Included tools

Elastic Stack
SIEM
Elasticsearch 8.12 + Kibana + Filebeat — log ingestion, search, and dashboards

Use cases

Elastic POC
Quickly demo Elastic capabilities to stakeholders without infrastructure overhead
Log ingestion testing
Test log parsing, index templates, and ingest pipelines in an isolated environment
Kibana dashboard dev
Build and iterate on Kibana dashboards with real data before deploying to production
Fast iteration
Spin up and destroy repeatedly during development — minimal cost, maximum speed

Need more tools? You can start with Quick Sandbox and deploy additional tools later by creating a new plan. Or start with the SOC Platform preset to get everything at once.
